Algonquin College Is Leading the Way in Employment and Training Services
September 8, 2015
Community Employment Services, Literacy & Basic Skills (an Employment Ontario program delivered by Algonquin College in Smiths Falls), and Ontario Works were nominated collectively for a provincial leadership award as a result of developing a course to help their mutual clients broaden their employment opportunities. This collaborative initiative has since been adopted as a provincial model and is now delivered throughout the province.
