AC Always Connected is an online event series that keeps our entire Algonquin College community connected. Tune in for live virtual events and help support our local businesses and connect with our College community.

In this session, Sara Pishva, Owner and Operator of Ottawa’s Top Shelf Preserves, will provide tips and
techniques to preserve your summer vegetables and herbs, to enjoy all year long. Whether you’re a pickling-pro or a beginner looking for inspiration, tune in and learn something new!

Open to all Algonquin College students, employees, and alumni. Advance registration is required.

About Sara Pishva
Sara Pishva started Top Shelf Preserves in 2013 after a decade of cooking in professional kitchens. She created a line of bold pickles and preserves and soon realized she had a real knack for the craft. Her unique and delicious pickles and preserves fit the bill wherever you desire a handcrafted touch whether it’s an elevated brunch, an inspired cocktail, cheese or charcuterie board, or late-night snack right from the fridge.
