Employment Support Centre & Algonquin Students' Association partner for job fair

On Oct. 4, the Algonquin Students' Association, in collaboration with the Employment Support Centre, held a part-time job fair for all Algonquin College students. Over 350 students attended the four-hour long job fair featuring both internal and external employers excited for the opportunity to hire Algonquin College students.

External employers such as Amazon, City of Ottawa, TD Place, Fed Ex, Ottawa Safety Council, H20 and Hard Rock were very happy with the caliber and number of students they chatted with and the number of resumes they received on the spot. Internal employers featured AC Student Recruitment, AC Residence, AC Peer Tutoring, Algonquin Students’ Association hiring for Food Services, Starbucks, Marketing team and the Employment Support Centre to give advice on job searching and career readiness questions.
