LMS Weekly Update: Fall 2018 Course Shells

Brightspace implementation takes a major step forward with the news that all full-time faculty — and select part-time faculty, if their department has loaded the information into Genesis ­— should now have access to their Fall 2018 course shells.
 
This usually occurs in late July, but the Learning Management System team was able to work with ITS to ensure full-time faculty had access to their assigned courses prior to the start of their annual leave.
 
Part-time faculty will have access to their shells once their timetables are released. However, the LMS team is providing any part-time faculty who would like to get started on their Fall 2018 courses with blank developmental shells. These requests should be sent to bbhelp@algonquincollege.com.
 
To create a consistent look and feel for all learners, the LMS team recommends that faculty use the Grades Setup Wizard in their Fall courses.
